Located near the bridges, L’ancrage is designed to encourage home ownership for a new generation of buyers. CARGOarchitecture was commissioned to develop the initial concept, proposing an urban layout that defines a new civic anchor point. The architecture adapts to a transforming site, with buildings oriented to offer multiple diagonal views of the St. Lawrence River. A broad range of unit types meets diverse residential needs. The project also includes shared interior spaces, landscaped outdoor gathering areas, and a ground-floor daycare.
