LE 737
Québec
2021
Cargo architecture was commissioned to design a temporary event space using a decommissioned Boeing 737, installed near Québec City’s Jean Lesage airport. The project was carried out in close collaboration with promoter Capitaine Gagnon and delivered in time for the summer season. The first sketches envisioned a concept rooted in the aesthetics of executive aviation, with repurposed shipping containers forming food concessions and a DJ control tower. The final version, refined with the marketing team, adopted a more laid-back summer atmosphere aligned with the desired artistic direction.
